All 126 Pima County vote centers open Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the 2026 general election, and voters can cast a ballot at any location in the county.

The centers operate from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the Pima County Elections Department. Anyone still in line at 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote. The county's vote center list includes locations in both the Oro Valley area and Catalina Foothills, and voters are not limited to a center near their home.

Voters who are unable to leave their vehicles can vote curbside at 21 of the 126 centers, according to the county's elections page.

Mail deadline has passed

The county says voters should no longer mail early ballots. All early ballots must arrive by 7 p.m. on Election Day to count.

Voters can still drop off early ballots at designated locations, including 24/7 drop boxes, or at any vote center on Tuesday. Voters who return an early ballot in person at a vote center can show approved identification at an ID-verified check-in table. That allows the ballot to skip the signature verification process.

When to expect results

The first batch of unofficial results is expected shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday. Those results will include early ballots transferred from the Pima County Recorder's Office to the Elections Department through about midday Nov. 3, according to the county.

More results will follow throughout the night. They will cover ballots cast in person at vote centers and those dropped off through the ID-verified process. Counting is expected to continue into the early morning hours of Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Some early ballots returned close to the deadline still need signature verification before they can be counted. That includes ballots received by mail, returned to drop boxes or dropped off at vote centers without ID verification. Provisional ballots also must be reviewed.

Additional counting is expected to resume Wednesday afternoon and continue in the days after the election. The Recorder's Office has five days after Election Day to verify or resolve signature issues.

Official canvass set for Nov. 19

Results stay unofficial until the Pima County Board of Supervisors approves the canvass of votes. That approval is scheduled for a special meeting on Thursday, Nov. 19.

Pima County will post Election Day updates and results on Threads, Bluesky and X. Full vote center locations and election details are available at pima.vote.
