Tucson voters will decide two city propositions on the Tuesday, Nov. 3, ballot.

The measures appear on a special election consolidated with the general election. Pima County is administering the vote, according to the City of Tucson Clerk's elections page. The two propositions apply only to voters within Tucson city limits, not to Oro Valley or Catalina Foothills residents.

Proposition 421 involves a franchise agreement with Tucson Electric Power Company. The city's elections page lists the measure by that title but does not detail the specific terms.

Proposition 422 would reauthorize a one-tenth cent (0.1%) transaction privilege tax and use tax. Revenue is dedicated to the Gene C. Reid Park Zoo. Because the measure is a reauthorization, the tax already exists and voters are being asked whether to continue it.

Full ballot language for both measures is available in the city's publicity pamphlet.

The Pima County Recorder's office lists voting locations, early ballot status and other election resources. The Associated Press elections page will carry results as they become available.
